About

“I typically photograph ‘things outdoors.’  With my photography, I’m trying to convey to you things which I’ve seen in the world which have moved me emotionally:  people, landscapes, colors, lines, patterns.  Capturing these things visually to last, and to share, using photography is a passion of mine.   I enjoy and gain satisfaction by sharing with others what has moved me visually and emotionally in life.”

Scott Baxter is a semi-pro photographer and has been formally practicing photography since 2010.  He has extensive formal training in photography from the School of International Center of Photography in NYC.  His prints are typically large (72″x48″) and produced on the medium of aluminum.  He is also a self-taught artist and paints large (72″x48″) abstract expressionist and impressionist oil on canvas works attempting to bridge the works of Jackson Pollock and Hans Hoffman.
